Hello,

I'm in a desperate need for  ANY donations and prayers. I need to leave the house where I am staying at as I'm not being treated welcomed...and am so afraid to be homeless living in the street. I have a small older dog that is practically blind, so moving to a shelter is not an option for me as I would never leave my "best-friend" behind.

I've always worked, been independent and loved giving when I was in the position to do so.  I'm currently unemployed and am no longer receiving benefits. The worst part is that I don't have a car and that makes my job search more difficult as I reside in Texas. Ideally, I would love to relocate to another state as I am so emotionally hurt by the cold treatment of family members.

Any donation would be appreciated even if it is a dollar or less. And if you can’t donate, please just pray for me as that would mean so much to me. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Can someone help me find $400 for a deposit on an apartment? I've already put $350 on an apartment, but they need $400 more before I can move into the apartment.

I don't really know what exactly to write here, or where to start... What I really need is help getting a home. I have been pretty much homeless for the last year. I have been living in motels this whole time, and I feel like I'm trapped into doing this for the rest of my life, because it's so expensive, their is no way I can save money for the deposit & first months rent (& possibly last months rent!) to get into a place. I have an 8 year old son, who has been living with his dad & his family for this whole time, and I miss him & he misses me, and I really need to get a home so I can be his mother again... The situation I'm in is way too unstable to have him with me... I have tried this whole time to somehow save up & get myself out of this trap, but to no avail... It's starting to feel pretty hopeless. If I had family or friends that would help me at all, I would have already tried... I don't have anyone. I rarely have even enough money to be able to eat on a regular basis... I guess what would really help me would be either a loan or for someone kind enough to help get me out of this situation & into a home. Either way, I would pretty much do anything at this point for some help. I'm desperate, my son needs his mom, and I need a little help before my hopelessness completely takes over & I can't even do what I'm doing now anymore... I don't know. It's getting depressing... Please help, anyone, with something realistic. Like I said, I'm willing to do anything. I just need a home for me & my son... Thanks...

Is there any programs that help a client to move in Gresham? 

I rent an apartment and a contractor discovered black mold across the whole back wall about 30 square feet. The conditions are so bad that the support beams are rotted through.  My mom and I tried to remove my belongings but we got so physically sick that we had to leave it.  My doctor states that I am not to go back in.  I'm now homeless and "couch-surfing" but need to move into a new apartment. I work full-time but am low-income. I have an attorney but she said that it would be months and months before I get a settlement and I need to find a place to live ASAP but don't have the money to do so.  I can deal without my furniture and stuff but I need a roof over my head.

The landlord tried to give me a 10 day eviction notice, then a 30 day and then 60 (because I kept telling them I wouldn't sign because it's illegal notification).  Now they are not taking even responsibility even though I had nothing to do with the mold, they installed air conditioning and didn't do it right.

I found a couple of resources but I live in Gresham and they only handle Portland area. 

Any ideas would be really appreciated.

Hi my name is jasmine and i live in california i recently started working and im attending school and i have two little girls under the age of 3 and i need help with deposit money to get an apartment for us. i plan to get on my own feet some how and then attend law school.

My husband and I have two kids, one is 16 months and the other is 2 months.  My husband just lost his job, and we may loose our apartment.

im in need of my own car and house. i had 3 massive strokes last year. i have lost my hearing and sight out of my right eye. speech is bad but in the midst of it all GOD says its not my time to go. HE has great things for me to do.

I'm a 26 year old mother to an 8 year old boy. I'm trying to leave a very bad relationship that I've been in for 10 years. I work 7 nights a week at my job and pay all my bills. I really want to move out and know I can afford it but I can't come up with a security deposit for a place that's 1500 dollars how do I get help with this

Hello everyone!

My name is Shelby and I don't really know how to start this.. My husband and I will be celebrating our one year wedding anniversary next month. We're also awaiting an eviction notice on our house. For the last few months we've been living with my parents since I lost my job, my husband found a job that doesn't pay much and I haven't been able to find one at all. Our house has been foreclosed on and my parents have made the decision to move out of state. My husband and I can not do this because I have 2 step-kids here and we could never be that far away from them. Currently we have one vehicle that's about to break down, the transmission is going out and the car will not shift into 2nd gear, it's missing a driver's side door handle so we have to climb in the passengers side, and at one point the car wouldn't come out of park so we had to break the locking mechanism to be able to drive it, so the key no longer comes out of the ignition, my husband manages to get to and from work but we're not sure for how much longer. I have looked into income-based apartments but they will not take into consideration my husband's child support when it comes to the amount we pay in rent. We're sinking quickly and I really don't know what to do at this point. If I don't find somewhere for us to live in the next few weeks we're going to be homeless and to be honest, I'm not sure our car will last long enough for us to live in it if that does happen.

If anyone out there can help us, please! We're very young and we've made a lot of mistakes but we just need a little bit of help.
